So much is happening in September!
One month from now we will be holding our first House of QiBelly Tai Chi Teacher Certification Ceremony, as well as our second Tai Chi Apprenticeship Inaugural. Such an exciting event, but wait, there is more…
Brilliant Minds (the show I worked on), starring Zachary Quinto, will be airing on September 23rd on NBC and streaming via Peacock. Back in April I was hired by the show to choreograph a beautiful Tai Chi sequence with the director. A few a you may even recognize the forms we used for the scene! Stay tuned for when it airs.
Our Tai Chi Push Hands Event in High Park didn’t happen in August. What can I say, it was a busy month. Hopefully we can make it happen in September. We had such a glorious time of it in July. I hope to announce the next one shortly.

But what about the Reiki? The other part of my practice, the one that I don’t talk about very much.
In many ways, it’s my passion. I love it. But I tend to stay away from Reiki talk. I find it fluffy. And fluffy can be annoying. Forget what you heard, this isn’t your average approach. Komyo Reiki runs deep. Not just for healing, it’s preventative, as well as developmental! I myself found it difficult initially to comprehend such simplicity. But Reiki changed everything for me. And this is what I’m talking about!

As our season shifts, we are being asked to dip into the uncomfortable. Be reasonable, our acceptance and ability to adjust speaks volumes of these coming months. Move with what we are being given and try to maintain a level head. But most importantly, remember to also take the time to enjoy what you can while you can.
And on that note, here is my latest Group Stupid if you missed it. It’s a fun one!!
